Hot Wash Peer Support is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Our mental health support services and resources are directly funded by first-responder groups’ and organizations’ annual fee contributions, nonprofit grants and in-kind donations from individuals.
We provide first responders (fire, EMTs and police) with peer support, educational opportunities, growth and mentorship to build their inner resiliency in a line of work that can test their coping skills daily.
Please consider donating your time, gifts and talents. Tax-deductible gifts can be made by donating to Hot Wash Peer Support.
If you are a first-responder organization and would like to get involved or schedule an event, training or workshop, please reach out to us.
Our Mission
Provide first responders with the most trusted, easy to access peer-to-peer support services in Minnesota.
Our Approach
Our certified peer recovery specialists (CPRS) begin by listening intently, mitigating and facilitating further services when necessary. The Hot Wash peer-recovery process will help nurture the first responder by addressing moral injury and healing the soul wound. We accomplish our mission with a strong work ethic, dignity, teamwork and character. Hot Wash Peer Recovery Services values the sacrifices that first responders make daily, along with their families and the community.
What we do at Hot Wash Peer Recovery Services is simple and straightforward, “Helping First Responders Help Themselves.” We cultivate emergency preparedness, specific to Hot Wash first-responder training.
We do this through mental conditioning, physical conditioning and spiritual development that leads a struggling individual toward healthier outcomes.
Our Team
We have a solid foundation from which to support and build solid relationships within the police, EMT and firefighter communities.
